Desktop Assistant, Productivity

Aelita

This is my first `completed` AI project. Mainly designed to eradicate repeatitive and boring tasks I recieved from my employer at the time. AELITA however proved to be a very resourceful Agent when single-handedly managing customers and day-to-day operations. Aelita was built for Windows XP & then redeveloped for Windows 7.

Desktop Assistant

Being able to take over user input interfaces (Mouse & Keyboard) as well as utilize the Windows Clipboard did mean that the computer would be `occupied` during a task, however Aelita was still an effective desktop assistant to me at the time.

  • Able to fill out repeative fields on PDF based Visa Application Forms
  • Able to check and respond to customer emails using POP3 & SMTP and Bayesian Inference designed using C++
  • Able to recieve & execute programs\scripts remotely (RAT)
  • Able to perform repeative user tasks by over-taking user input interfaces (HID interface)
  • Able to interact with user for reminders, greetings etc..

Technologies Used

Runs on:

  • Microsoft Agent
  • Windows TTS
  • Custom Batch Scripts
  • TinyTask

Built-with:

  • Windows File Database (.db)
  • C++
  • Visual Basic

Notable Technical Complexities

  • Haxing Windows Libraries
  • Using Native Windows Libraries to perform out-of-the-box solutions

  • Remote Adminstration Tool
  • While it did not occur to me at the time I essentially custom coded a C2 RAT. This wasn't ID by AntiVirus software either

  • Multi-Tier Clipboard
  • Used VB code to temporarily store and replace the current clipboard content, mainly used for PDF Application filling

  • AIML Chatbot
  • Built a custom AIML interpreter and AIML files following the footsteps of Steve Worswick & the late Dave Morton
