The IoT Lotus Lanterns project is a network of wirelessly connected decorative lanterns, inspired by the elegance of lotus blossoms and powered by ESP32 microcontrollers. Designed to communicate over a Wi-Fi mesh network, each lantern can dynamically respond to control signals, creating a synchronized and interactive light show. Leveraging FreeRTOS, each node runs independently yet cooperatively in a decentralized architecture, ensuring responsiveness and reliability.
Bluetooth connectivity allows users to pair with the lanterns using a smartphone and send custom Morse code messages. These messages are parsed and translated into unique light blinking sequences, combining artistic expression with technical sophistication.
Runs on:
Built-with:
Compact, low-power microcontrollers capable of both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication.
Real-time multitasking for responsive and efficient execution of concurrent tasks.
Decentralized network topology for scalable, robust communication between multiple lanterns.
